A more twilight view of the same end. According to Nathan Perry, "North end of NY 15 on South Clinton Avenue at NY 31. NY 31 eastbound runs left to right on Woodbury Blvd. NY 31 westbound comes from right on Woodbury and continues straight on Clinton. At left is Bausch & Lomb headquarters and at right is the Xerox tower, Rochester's tallest. Also note trailblazer for public market in this and at NY 33's eastern terminus." What could be considered to be the northern beginning of NY 15. According to Nathan Perry, "This can be said to be the start of NY 15 southbound. On South Avenue at Woodbury Blvd., where NY 31 turns left (next lane over). NY 15 goes straight thru on South Avenue (actually a ramp between segments of South Ave.). I-490 east is both to the left (not shown) and to the right. NYSDOT doesn't seem to recognize the existence of NY 15 southbound between here and Mt. Hope Avenue, however." The current southern terminus of NY 15 is at US 15/I-86/NY 17 in Painted Post. Photo taken by Douglas Kerr on March 31, 2001.
