And of course, the view from NY 352 westbound. One thing to note, the wall you see in the distance of this photo is of the Corning Bypass of I-86/NY 17. NY 352 was once part of NY 17 before the construction of the bypass. Photo taken by Mark Sinsabaugh on August 17, 2001.

NY 352's former western terminus at I-86/NY 17 (Exit 48) in East Corning. NY 352 ended here before the Corning Bypass (Exits 45-48) was built. When the first section (Exits 47-48) was opened to traffic in the early 1980's, NY 17 was rerouted onto the new bypass and NY 352 was extended along East Corning Rd. (old NY 17) to the bypass' interchange at Exit 47. Photo taken by Mark Sinsabaugh on August 18, 2002.

NY 352's former western terminus at I-86/NY 17 (Exit 47) in Gibson. This was NY 352's western terminus from the early 80's until the completion of the Corning Bypass in October 1995. Even though the section between Exits 46 and 47 was built and opened to traffic in 1987, the NY 17 designation remained on Dennison Parkway through Downtown Corning until the bypass' completion. When the section between Exits 45 and 46 was completed in October 1995, the NY 17 designation was moved to the bypass and NY 352 was extended along Dennison Parkway to its present terminus at NY 415 in Riverside. According to Mark Sinsabaugh, the signage in NY 352's eastern terminus is no longer there, due to the reconstruction of Exits 56 and 57 on NY 17. Photo taken by David Greenberger on October 2000.
